Today the girls will go to their FIRST God and Me meeting with Boy/Girl Scouts. Its being hosted at a church on base. So what is God and Me you ask? The God and Me curriculum is designed to help youth in grades 1-3, become best friends with Jesus and tell their story of “God and Me” together. After all our promise states "On my honor, I will try TO SERVE GOD..." There first meeting is today from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. Then again Thursday, next Tuesday and the last meeting is next week on a Thursday. They will both Earn a Patch and Pin they can wear throughout Girl Scouts. They don't even know they are going yet, its a surprise! My friend Jennifer is picking them up and taking them as she is helping the preacher give the lesson. I hate I'll miss it. I might ask her to take my camera and get some pictures at one of the meetings. I think i have two other girls from my Brownie Troop going as well. Should be alot of fun for them. Well I gotta run. I am so glad the girls are getting to go this meeting...sounds like it will be very good. Sure wish you could go too. Will be a great surprise for them too! Have a great day!
