An online survey commissioned by Intel has found, among other things, that 46% of women would rather go without sex for two weeks than give up the Internet for that long. The numbers get bigger for certain age groups; 49% of women aged 18-34 would make that choice, and 52% of women aged 35-44.
Some 30% of all men would swap sex for the Internet for two weeks, if they had to, with 39% of men aged 18-34 willing to make that sacrifice, according to the survey. Only 23% of men aged 35-44 said they would do so.

To me this is really surprising! What do you think?

This is interesting. I can see how some folks would probably pick the internet. At my house it's actually hard to find time to have any "alone" time....when you have a 14 year old in the house. ha ha Love, Mama
Ha, that really is suprising! Thanks for visiting my 'saucy' blog...haha...how funny is that? :-)
Well that is about the only way I can get it! And even then, I don't get it that much. Must be nice!

Visiting from SITS....I'm one of those women.
I'd MUCH rather have my internet for 2 weeks. Longer...another story.
Internet...sure! ;) Ha ha!! I'd miss my bloggin' too much!
Congrats on being SAUCY!!! :)
LOL! This doesn't surprise me!
interesting. I have no doubt that that percentage for women is right.
The men one...I'm shocked it is that high. Unfortunately I wonder if many of the men saying they would give it up for Internet regularly view porn on the Net. THOSE statistics are really scary. Internet Porn is ruining our society. :(
It makes sense. The men's numbers surprised me a bit, but 2 weeks is not that long, especially in a small house with three teens and the internet keeps me sane. ;)
Hmmmm....if I could have sex while surfing the internet AND be texting on my cell life would be perfect LMAO.
Merry Christmas!
I see how this can be true...sometimes real life is just too much to deal with sex included. The internet is so much more relaxed and stress free!
Your blog is adorable! I have to say I'm part of the 43%...much to my DH's chagrin. Merry Christmas and thanks for sharing!
